Manna Japanese Comfort Food

"Manna Japanese Comfort Food is the definition of a hidden gem. It has easily become my favorite Japanese restaurant in Salem. The food is high quality, the portions are large and the prices are great. I typically get the sushi burrito, but lately we have been trying new things. The poke bowls are delicious but the sushi burrito is still my fav. The owners are very nice people and the service is always great. Highly recommend!!"

"We really enjoyed this little gem of a restaurant. There’s limited seating, but they were pretty empty when we visited. We ordered the special with soup and tempura shrimp, tonkatsu and Takoyaki. Everything was good. The curry was especially good. It was thick and had a fantastic depth of flavor. The pork cutlet was also thick, much thicker than I’ve seen in any other local restaurants. The soup was delicious, and the octopus balls were creamy and crispy. I would definitely visit this restaurant again, and possibly take my friends there. My only complaint was the very loud religious music playing in the background. The lady who rang us up and brought our food, was very friendly and the restaurant was clean."

"I’ve been having a hard time finding a good sushi place in Salem and this one was so good! Reasonable prices everything tasted so fresh. My only complaint was the size of the pieces were quite large and it was hard to eat it in one bite."

The service was very accommodating, great hospitality and the food was simply amazing, biggest sushi rolls I've ever encountered without sacrificing any quality or flavor."

"Food was SO good. I was a little nervous since the menu wasn’t too big and sushi places can really be a hit or miss, but this place was just SO tasty. Wish I had run into it sooner on my stay in Salem would have gone a couple of times. I think the owners were the ones who attended but regardless they were really kind. I felt that the portions were generous and in accordance with their pricing."
