"Quality work at a very reasonable price (Auto. Trans. rebuild)."
"El jefe is the 4L60E king!! He rebuilt the very failing transmission on my little Isuzu Hombre XS. Great work and a massive help. 6 stars out of 5. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐"
"My Jeep Liberty had been leaking transmission fluid for almost two years. Don't ask me how it hadn't failed yet...I kept it topped off as best I could. I had taken it to a place in Bandon, and another in Coos Bay. Both places said they 'fixed it' by replacing the cooling line which they were both convinced was the issue. The leak continued. I took it back to the place in Coos Bay a second time, they said they didn't tighten the connector enough. Still, more leaking. Finally took it to Trans Fix. They took a while, but they found the issue. A small crack in the dedicated trans cooler that was only visible after removing the front grill. None of the other shops bothered to look this far. The service at Trans Fix was thorough, friendly, and very reasonable cost-wise. I would use again without question!"
"The tired 4L60E transmission in our 1995 GMC Sierra 4X lost its high gears towing our 25 ft RV trailer. Augustine rebuilt it to a stage 2 towing package and included a better than stock torque converter. With the engine modified to 100 hp over stock we now have a nicely matched power train. Pulled trailer to Olympia and back, a distance of over 600 miles no problem. Trani now has over 3000 miles on it and is strong and smooth. Augustine is in high demand so had to wait a month, but during the pandemic we couldn't have gotten a performance transmission in that amount of time for any price. Augustine's price was very competitive. He came highly recommended from a friend who puts 100K miles on his business vehicles annually. Although we don't put on as many miles, we needed a strong transmission for our towing needs. He said we'd see better fuel mileage and we definitely did under tow. We're passing this recommendation on just as strong as the one we received. Augustine knows transmissions and does superior work. We're very happy."
"Was recommended by my auto mechanic that has always treated right and fairly ...Plug for Mick Reeds Auto, but Mick doesn't do transmission work so he told me without hesitation that this place was the only place he would say to go. So I received an estimate and date to bring my car in. They are very gracious people even offered to give my rides to places I needed to go. Have been telling anyone that brings up getting transmission work done to go to this father and son shop. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ for 5 Trans Fix in empire across from BAAC"
