Blue Goat Farm Market
About the Business
Blue Goat Farm Market is a unique institution located at 506 South Trade Street in Amity, Oregon. This bar, food, and restaurant establishment is not your typical farm market - it raises lamb, beef, veggies, chickens, and goats on site. Meet Rambo, the friendly goat who inspired the name!
Committed to community, sustainability, and quality, Blue Goat Farm Market is a small business run by Dave and Cassie. Dave can be found behind the bar, while Cassie is in the kitchen, serving up delicious dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
The idea for Blue Goat Farm Market was born in 2010, and the historic Amity building was transformed into a cozy space that reflects the owners' passion for slow food, craftsmanship, and community. Dave is a woodworker, rancher, and conservationist, while Cassie is a writer, cook, and artist. Together, they live just a short distance from the restaurant with their farm animals and pets.
Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, a refreshing drink, or just a friendly atmosphere, Blue Goat Farm Market welcomes you to experience their unique blend of farm-to-table dining. Reach out to them at info@amitybluegoat.com and pay them a visit soon!

"Delicious and different! Got burgers, frys and lamb Flatbread. Glad they are open again. But they probably need to ask how you like your meat done, I'm ok with rare, but my GF wasn't. They did remake her burger, so good on them."
"We had the lamb rib tacos. They were fabulous. It's a fun, down to earth, comfortable place. We were drinking zero proof beverages and they had a good selection."
"Blue Goat is my absolute favorite place to dine in Amity. And I know, Amity isn’t a huge town, but even if it was filled with restaurants, I know Blue Goat would still be the best. I love everything about them: Locally grown produce and meat, and a short, curated menu so you can depend on anything you order to be exemplary. They have prepared items if you just want a little something to grab and go, and they also sell their meat and produce too! We’ve dined here a few times, and I always try to order a goat or lamb dish as that is not something I would cook at home, and I know it will be skillfully prepared and tasty. For instance, we recently had goat empanadas….so darn good! Love them! We’ve also had the lamb barbeque. Their fries are ridiculously crispy and yummy, salads are always good, and for dessert the chocolate cake or cookies have been delicious. Don’t forget to wander around a bit while you wait on your order (Which is always quick!). They have fun artwork, cute mugs, even dog treats! In December they had some sweet handmade ornaments and bulbs in planters. They are only open 3-8 Friday and Saturday so might take a little planning ahead, but they are so worth seeking out. If you are in McMinnville, it’s only a little drive, and if traveling from that area to Salem, maybe make a pit stop in Amity for a tasty treat?"
"I'm so excited that they are back open and with an expanded vision! You can get delicious food & drinks to dine in or there's also a farm market with veggies, sausages, gifts & bottles to go! Note their new hours (google isn't updating easily) Open Friday & Saturdays 3-8pm."
"Delicious, homemade food with a mostly gluten free menu in Amity?’ Whaaaat? Even a little farmers market in the back! Super good food, cozy atmosphere!"
