"Good food and cozy atmosphere. Tables are not too close together making it enjoyable to carry on a conversation with friends. Even though it was a busy Friday night in downtown Albany we were seated in a reasonable amount of time. Inside waiting area made it more comfortable on a cold winter evening."
"I absolutely love this place. I’ve gotten the butternut squash ravioli in rosemary cream sauce every time! The quality of the food is so worth it for a relatively cheap price. Cute and cozy environment. Also shout out to Alex for being such a great host, bar tender, and waiter when they were short staffed."
"We were in the area doing some car shopping and wanted a late dinner. Italian is always a great option, and this mouth-watering gem was the perfect choice. We are very rarely in the Albany area, so we don't have much experience or familiarity with the restaurants. The menu for Gamberetti's isn't large, but you can find a majority of Italian favorites and daily specials - options for vegetarians as well. The lasagna was up there with my all-time favorites! Pricing is very good - appetizer, drinks, 2 entrees, and a dessert had us under $80 before the tip. The slow service was the only downfall during this trip where the waiter/server/busser was covering a large area, and it appeared to be more of an understaffed issue than the employee. The attitude of the staff was very pleasant, but kept conversations very efficient due to the next table's needs and lack of help. The initial glasses of water weren't served until the actual ordered drinks arrived, 25 minutes after being seated. Parking in the area wasn't bad - free parking in the street and a small lot next to the restaurant for the establishments in the area. Overall, an amazing place that is worth the visit if you have the time available for a long dinner experience. We will absolutely visit the restaurant again!"
"I wanted to love this place, and I did until I got my main course. The server was the sweetest. We loved the garlic bread, wine, and Caesar salad! I ordered Spaghetti and Meatballs, which was not great. The meatballs were super dense with not a lot of flavor. The spaghetti was a little crunchy, and the sauce was overly sweet. So let down because of how good all the other items were. Willing to go again and give it another shot though, maybe order something different."
