"I'd like to know...since when has an employee not been able to be courteous and help a person out? This is the 2nd O'Reilly's I've been to in 2 days. In another city I was traveling through- a "gentleman"-employee, had no problem to change a few lightbulbs and I didn't even ask. He even went out of his way to check to make sure they were all working. But I passed up the help. I figured I would push it till I absolutely needed to get that bulb or bulbs replaced. I learned my lesson. Because today....I needed some assistance. A small light. All ya needed was a screwdriver which I had in my trunk. The man who assisted me, said "it's our policy that we cannot go out and assist or help". Blew me away. But it just aggravates me. I was so upset. I'll go elsewhere if I'm told this is for sure "Your" policy. But I'll be damn sure I make my stops heading up North when I do as the man who helped me, went a little out of his way. That's how it used to be."

"I've only ever just needed to drop in quick for basic items but the staff has always been polite. Typically has what I need for a fair price but I am also not looking for anything crazy or vehicle specific so can't comment on that. The fact the folks at the counter are nice and say thank you is enough to keep me coming back."
