"This is arguably one of the best pet spas in the area. My dog is always dog show ready, smells nice and is happy when we pick him up. The one issue I have and have been having since my very first appointment is with the lady, Beverly who generally answers the phones. She is ALWAYS VERY unwelcoming and not warm at all. The tone is always demeaning and if I ask one too many questions, she’s aggravated and will forward our calls. It does not matter who calls- she is the same way with both me and my husband. I have had several other friends leave this spa for the very same reason. I did tell her how I felt this morning (in hopes of having whatever issue she has with us rectified) and her response was, “I don’t know what that means, but I apologize that I’m not warm and welcoming, I guess.” If that’s not arrogant and condescending, I’m not sure what is. Disgusting. I will be spending my money elsewhere moving forward!"

"I brought my maltipoos with bad matting. Kadynce went ABOVE AND BEYOND and was able to fit me in after two last minute cancelations. This please is so professional. She trimmed the dogs nails and they use the most amazing shampoo once cut. Trust me this place is amazing. They care for your sidekick like it's one of their own! Thanks again Kadynce amd THANK YOU TO DOGWOOD SPA! Two happy pups and im so grateful; thanks to her patience!"

"Hands down! Our Fav Groomer they took our chase in as one of their own, we took in our 9m standard poodle, Chase! He was supper fluffy from puppy hair and they turned him into a beautiful boy! They ladies that work there are the most sweetest and kindest people. Dropped chase off at 9:15 and was done by 3.. we were very pleased with how well they did on him. So if you’re looking for you THIS IS YOUR PLACE! These are before and after! Thanks so much!"

"I hardly EVER write google reviews, but I love this place and the people that work there so much that I want to give them their due! We have been coming to Dogwood for years and have always appreciated the love and care that they give to our two babies. Our groomer has truly built a relationship with our dogs that can’t be replicated anywhere else. One of my dogs is VERY nervous and gets scared of everything, but this is the only place where he will allow them to give him a full groom and not leave the experience absolutely terrified. Dogwood is the only place I trust, after having some very bad grooming experiences elsewhere. We recently moved to Houston in April, and still make trips to Lake Charles specifically for our grooming appointments and it’s well worth it. THAT’S how good they are. They will make your fur angels feel special as well as do an amazing job on their grooms! If you are looking for a groomer you can trust and one that will treat you and your pups like family, then choose Dogwood Paw Spa! 11/10 would recommend"
