Reviews
"The Briggs-Staub House is a beautiful mansion and certainly worth seeing. Originally designed by the renowned architect James Gallier, who also designed Gallier Hall, Gallier House in the French Quarter and several others. The house has been enlarged over the years and is in a great state of preservation. The house and grounds are wonderful reminders of the past."
"This stone house was raised 18 in by the current owner in 1992. Raising and restoring a stone house was not easy and the current result is exquisite, The street in front is 12 ft above sea level and movies and videos are being filmed in this area constantly. It is only occupied but part of the house is tentanted."
