"If i could rate her 0 stars i would. My grandmother was 85. We all know our grandparents can be stubborn. I had to take her to the dr. And this doctor is the worst doctor i have ever received care from my grandmother began feeling not herslef a year ago. Updike said it was her age. We thought great shes omay.she continued to decline. She previously battled breast cancer and it had reoccured twice. My grandmother ended up going to the er 4 times over a 90 day time spand. At all 4 appointments she was given x rays. We then followed up with her pc. Dr. Updike mever recieved the x rays nor did she ever request them evn though we continually pressured her to. Her professionalism was unbelievably awful. I had never had rude negative intelectual comments made towards myself by a profdesional on the clock in my life.. I requested her to write us a new reforal to have a check up with her cancer specialist which she then continued to argue with me. I was forces to contact him myself. He was confused and said that it was not normal for him to have to request a refferal himself. Which he was so helpful and broke protocall to do so. We found out in our very first visit that indeed our worst nightmare was back. On our nexrt appointment 7 days later he was already able to verify that it was stage r matastified cancer. It was everywhere. Spread through her entire torrso. Dr. Updike had an entire year of complants about pain, and she did not do her job that she took an oath do. She watched my grandmother get worse and did not explore any of her medical knowledge. She did not order one test. If you yourself are older or if you have an older family member hat uses this physician i insist that you attend every appointment with them. To be sure she understands the extent to what her patient is saying. That she does not brush it off as old age. I would also like to mention for the last 8 years she did not force my grandmother to make her appointments required by Medicare to keep coverage but would lie to the government and say that she was. She would only call her over the phi e and ask if she was okay. Not even physically lay eyes on her. I noticed this wasnt normal and allowed it for years and i wish i would have intervened sooner. Yes, im aware of my grandmothers age. She was in better health than myself and im 26. She worked 6 days a week my entire life and longer. I knew something wasnt right and expresses that to her and she mocked me. She literally laughed in my face during my grandmothers appointment. I wish she would have been right. She would rather tell you your health is age appropiate than do test and ask questions. If i could i would not allow her to practice medicine on another patient ever. If you or your loved one has this lady as a physician again, please be aware of what os going on in these visit ( or phone calls) that she is calling health check ups."

"Dr. Tracie Updike is a very nice person who listens to your problems with your health and will ask you questions so that she understands you better. She is willing to try different medications or other treatments to see if you will benefit without putting your health at risk."
