"Shocked by the state of deterioration of the place, from just a few years ago. It’s really bad. Good thing I have my images from 2019, inside and out. No wonder the house is being considered for demolition by the city, despite its historical landmark status."

"This is a project which will be a living memorial to the many families who lived here over the many years and a continual educational and Community hub where you can get a cup of coffee and enjoy talking or playing checkers on the porch. While students learn gardening in the back and college students are studying inside. In the evening there is a band playing on the gazebo. All this will be possible with the help of students who need service projects, partnerships with Professors, and a wealth of trades people who are also willing to teach veterans, students and those who just want to volunteer their skills.
