"Incompetent office staff. Bonin is not a physician. She is s psychologist who prescribes medication. Louisiana is one of only 5 states in the country where this is a legal practice. After a little research, Ive learned why. Unprofessional practices by making you go in for medication questions. Will not call patients back, but has front desk clerk who is not a nurse answering medical questions and giving advice. Do your research!!! Edited to add: I am definitely a FORMER patient. The reason for the initial in my name is because of the nature of the stigma surrounding mental health. I did try to communicate with you, but YOU refused to return any of my calls and instead went through your uneducated office staff, who at one point called me to check how I was doing on the WRONG dose of medication. There were numerous issues with you and your staff I could get into on this review. And really? The language I use? That's funny and quite demeaning. I always thought you may struggle with a superiority complex. The response to my review, seals the deal. Perhaps this practice would be thriving if you could take a little constructive criticism instead of thinking you are better than everyone else."

"I would not recommend Renee Bonin to anyone. She does not actually talk to you. She likes prescribing controlled substances, even when you tell her you are uncomfortable on those types of medications. She does not take your feelings or concerns into consideration. My new doctor was shocked and appalled to learn the type of medication Bonin had me on. I am on non-controlled substance medication now, with a doctor that is well informed, and I feel so much better."
