"Over an hour wait, and last minute cancellations were bad enough. Then over 3 months after my daughters date of service I received a letter requesting 293. And threatening collections if not paid within 10 days - harsh considering I received no prior communications from the office except regarding last minute cancelled labs. I tried to call to inquire about the bill, as did our insurer, but the billing office doesn’t answer the phone. After hours on the phone with my daughters insurer, I determined the bill wasn’t paid because the doctors office failed to provide necessary forms to process the claim. I provided the adjuster the information and he approved the charges. I again tried to reach the doctors billing department, to no avail. Lousy all around. Don’t bother. PS- Yesterday, and notably after posting this, I received a call from the doctors billing department, saying “don’t worry about the bill,” to which I responded “I am not as the claim was approved thanks to my time and efforts.”"
