"Absolutely best tour I've been on, hands down. So much history, so much knowledge given on voodoo. Highly recommend!"
"I did the Voodoo Museum Tour today which included a walking tour of historic sites, and it was so engrossing. Cannot recommend enough"
"Great experience with this company! Nu'Awlons Nate is a great orator and storyteller. Weaving in history lessons with life lessons and a sociological deep dive into New Orleans on the way to the destination. We went on the Voodoo Museum tour that weaved us through the historic French Quarter and ended at the esteemed Armstrong Park (Congo Square). Learned about "real" history in a very entertaining way. Also shoutout to Benita at IAT! We had a hiccup in scheduling and she made sure to get us all taken care of with awesome customer service! This tour (and our tour with Priest Robi) was the highlight for my wife and I on our 7 day New Orleans getaway."
"While visiting my hometown of New Orleans, I happened to have a number of people with me from out of town. We took a tour with this group and loved every second of it! I guess the group took the last reviews feedback to heart, because we had a lot of time to look around and explore the different venues along the tour's path. The guide, Nate, was fun and colorful (not just his outfit, lol), and he made every stop an experience!. Highly recommended!"
"In booking a voodoo tour we decided we wanted to go with a smaller vendor, keeping more money in the community -- so I'm sad to write this review. Unfortunately this tour was not what we expected and overall our group walked away feeling like we didn't get a full history of voodoo in New Orleans. Even though we were given access to the museum we didn't get to look around and were urged to return (after dedicating two hours to this tour already, that's a bit hard to ask). So where the guide fell short we weren't really able to educate ourselves. I would suggest in the future cutting some of the dialogue and giving those on the tour 15 mins or so to walk around and check it out before proceeding on. High Points - Graveyard (which you need to be on a tour to get access to), Congo Square Low Points - Visiting a Sandwich shop (??!), Stories of con-artists in New Orleans (too many) I hope there are improvements to the tour and others report on these. Thanks! EDIT - upping this to 3.5 bc the local character did lead to some hilarious stories post- trip so that balances this more."
