"Such an awesome experience. Best time I've had in new orleans so far. 12/10 i will do this every time im in new orleans. Nick our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about everything we came across. He took the time to explain all he knew about the birds, trees, gators, and history of new orleans and swamps we were in. Highly recommend."
"This was so much fun, definitely a highlight of my NOLA trip. My friend and I did the combo kayak swamp + Whitney Plantation tour. Stephanie was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable! Pick up and drop off from the French Quarter was nice and easy. We got to see some juvenile alligators, a barred owl, and a bald eagle. The swamp and bayou were beautiful and we really got in there exploring. After the kayak, we had a lovely Cajun lunch at a local spot with a nice view of the water. Afterwards, we did the Whitney Plantation, which may bring down the mood, but it is an important part of history to learn about. I’m glad I did this tour. Highly recommend it!"
"I went on the combo Whitney Plantation and Swamp tour. I was in a small group of 3 people and Alex was the tour guide. He was very friendly and easy to talk to! His knowledge of New Orleans was extensive as he answered many questions of ours that weren’t even related to the tour. The plantation tour was self guided with a listening device. The Whitney plantation focuses on the slave experience and is very honest with the history, which I found very illuminating. We saw so many cool creatures on the swamp tour! We went very deep into the swamps where it gets narrow. Along the way Alex pointed out animals, plant life, and interesting facts about each I very highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting New Orleans!"
"So good! Nick was a fantastic guide. We spotted more than 10 alligators and 4 owls. Nick has such a finely tuned eye and a wealth of information about the swamp, the trees, the wildlife, the history. His passion for the land is infectious. Well worth it!"
"Really wonderful tour. We did the kayak swamp tour and the Whitney Plantation combo and it was incredible. Perfect if you want to go to spots outside the city in a way that is stress- and hassle-free. Our tour guide, Ali, was so knowledgeable not just for the kayaking but also on the ride out and back and had a great stop for lunch. She also was super generous with her time (we were lucky and ended up essentially with a private tour since no one else was in our group) and was very flexible, not rushing us at the plantation or anywhere else. And while it was a full day, it didn’t feel long since everything was taken care of for us and the combo were two very different experiences. Highly recommend this company and Ali!"
