Shreve not only helped me meet lifelong friends, but also helped me to grow academically. I have had some of the best teachers in caddo parish teach me. Definitely recommend Shreve!"

Can not wait untill football season. The student section at shreve is definitely the best student section of all schools in shreveport. We are all truely a gator family at shreve. Byrd sucks. "I am a current freshman at Captain Shreve. I am also in the Liberal Arts Program; all honors course. It is honestly one of the best schools in Shreveport, La. Captain Shreve is a place where anyone can go and feel at home, where you don't have to be super popular or smart to fit in, and also where you can go if you have no one to turn to. Don't let the "talk" fool you! Every school has its flaw. All of the students and faculty members are loving and treat you like family, while still ensuring that you're being well educated at the same time. This is a great place to be!"

"Im a graduating senior this year (2014). I transferred my sophomore and have loved it every since. Just to respond to a few of the false reviews i've seen. The teachers are definitely not sub-par we have teachers nationally certified to teach in college. Some of our teachers even help grade national test like the ACT and SAT. There are no metal detectors here it's one of the safest school environments you can attend. I have not experienced one incident of racism the teachers are fair and the administration is fair. This is probably the most school in terms of social life that i have seen. White, African-american, Hispanic, Asian, we all hang out together. Im black and one of my closest friends is white. We call ourselves the gator family cause that's the feel you get here. It's a family. It offers all the perks of a big school with a small school atmosphere. I definitely recommend to anyone. If you do not choose Captain Shreve, however, i recommend CE Byrd and Caddo Magnet."
