I was in my third trimester when my care was transferred over to her and I felt like myself and my baby were her priority and were cared about rather than just a number. She knew from day one that I desired a natural birth for my baby boy and that's what I got. "Katherine Greene was my nurse midwife for my first baby and i could not have asked for a better experience. She gave me the best care possible and only wanted what was absolutely best for both me and my baby. She never once tried to push me into anything i wasn’t comfortable with and she supported all of my decisions. "Upon wanting to replace my previous OB, I consulted with an NP at my high risk dr about other OBs they worked with. She gave me 4 maybe 5 names and I choose 2. The 1st wasn't accepting new patients. The 2nd was the midwifery and lactation clinic. Located in the same parking lot as the previous OB I was wanting to switch from. I didn't know anybody who had had midwifery services for prenatal care so I chose them. Although, I'm high risk AND an advanced maternal age 1st time soon to be mom, I had a really good overall feeling about my choice. The day came for the appointment. The lady at the front desk Ms Samantha is so nice (everyone there is nice and friendly) and everything went smoothly. I met with "Dr" Greene. She was warm and welcoming very knowledgeable also informative. She asked questions and listened carefully to my answers and concerns. She also assured me that she would be delivering my baby. She works with another very experienced midwife in the office Ms Mary. Who informed me that she has been doing this type of work for my entire life (I'm 42). That was very comforting to hear. I was hoping for someone older than myself to see about me during this so unexpected but so very well long awaited and grateful time of my life. But they aren't just for prenatal visits. Also provides regular gynecology and lactation services as well."
