Hubby and I moved here to be closer to our grand baby thinking we would purchase a home after being here for a year ,to feel out the area see what area we wanted to be in. Well after living here my husband says he will never buy again!!! Absolutely love everything about this place. After all the hurricanes we had this year, we had no worries, just came home, swept off our balcony and done!!! We are not going anywhere!!!! Management team and maintenance team are Awesome, couldn't ask for better!!!"

"This is an awesome place to live! After looking at numerous other Apartment Homes in the area, I'm very happy I chose to live at The Highlands at Grand Pointe! It's very quiet, the grounds, common areas, and buildings are kept up extremely well, and the attached garages are a bonus! All of the Office Staff, including the Maintenance Crew, are extremely friendly and helpful, they treat you like family!"

"Highlands of Grand Pointe is probably one of the best apartment complex you can ever find in whole Lafayette, LA area. I lived at some other places before and always felt unsafe no matter where but at Highlands I feel pretty safe. Management ladies Leslie and Chelsi at the leasing office provides top notch service and super cool and friendly and very easy to talk to, they both do amazing good job there. Also of course have to mention that the maintenance staff Mike and Chad are incredible and super fast and efficient, rarely had maintenance issue here but when I had, they fixed it same day right away. Attached garage is superb great addition and I not only use as a garage and use as a storage unit which is pretty nice. Even though I live in a one bedroom apartment, it is spacious and is welcoming around 1100 sq feet. Kitchen is open concept American Style kitchen and refreshingly nice. Of course washer and drier connections inside the apartment is a plus. I do not really have negative things to say about here but couple things can get pretty annoying, one bedrooms seem to look down the isle corridor at the back and they are pretty close to each other, so some oblivious neighbors who wake up early or come late at night and just because they wake up early and think everybody is awake(no we are sleeping so have some respect!), and thoughtlessly making noise not thinking if people have babies maybe they had to go to bed late, or people who worked late want to sleep till 10-11 morning or went to bed early and want to have good night rest and these oblivious people start talking to each other loudly even though they are only 1 feet from each other they could just talk softly but no they won't... feels like you can hear their noise from Houston Texas. This neighbors seem to not get that even softly you talk we hear everything at that back corridor as sounds just boom there, please go to your apartment silently, do not slam your doors thoughtlessly and keep it quite. Have some respect so others can respect you too. HOWEVER, management is on TOP of THIS noise issue so good that this issue started to diminish pretty good so overall I am happy. For above reasons I suggest do not start leaf blowing service or maintenance issues that can be noisy till like 10.00 and then we are good. Overall good neighbors though I really do not have much complaint about anything else. Other small complaint I might have is I lived some other places and stayed years without any rent increase but here rent is a bit high and increases next year however they work with you on that and even though rent is a bit high attached garage with extra storage unit, gated community and being super safe place makes it worth it. Actually rent is being high is not really a big complaint, maybe it is my personal choice that I personally prefer to buy a house than renting so it is really not of a complaint rather it is a personal choice. Also for a busy professional like me i do not have much time for enjoying television so including cable service inside the rent does not work out well for me as i do not use cable service(except internet) and watch TV at all, but I am sure this works out pretty good for all others, wish there was a choice for me to not to take TV cable service. So overall this is a 5/5 star apartment complex. If you are looking to rent a place, look nowhere else, just come and talk to leasing office ladies, they will help you finding the right apartment model for you. I dealt with many others before, trust me they are amazing. Honestly, if they consider selling their condos in the future(currently they do not) I might consider buying one here in the future. So if i had to rate this place over 100 points, I would go with 97-98 here. This message is for corporate office: Do not even think about changing this management and/or maintenance staff, without them I really don't think I would stay here. In my opinion, they really need special acknowledgement for their great job and success. Edited small typo"
