"Husband had surgery on Friday we arrived at 9:30 in the morning & were met by positive, happy, & upbeat hospital staff. The waiting area is nice, open & surprisingly inviting. About 6 minutes after his set appointment time, we were brought to the back & after he was prepared for surgery, our fun began. They kept him/I informed every step of the way. My husband was out of surgery by 3:30 & my phone was updated throughout, which helped to keep me anxiety free and in as much piece of mind as possible. I noticed every single family member was treated like we mattered...consulted by the doctor after the procedure (doc even calls the family if they stepped out before surgery over & haven't returned by the end of the procedure...step beyond what's expected). The pharmacy brought his meds up to me. Therefore, I didn't have to leave his side in recovery. Answered every question or concern. Catered to each patient with kid gloves during recovery. "We had two of our kids having surgery on the same day. Which made us very nervous. They made the experience seamless and comfortable. We were in the back within an average timeframe. Once in the back they got straight to work. Dr Ardoin was great. And Dr White did an amazingly personable job. Every nurse we met was also compassionate and personable. Even the lady’s in pacu who were helping turn over rooms and move stretchers, made it a point to say hello and offer any assistance if needed. We didn’t come across anyone who wasn’t obliged to help or offer to help. Overall great experience."
