Even when I couldn't be helped at the Gastro Clinic, Dr. Karr didn't stop until he found someone that could help me. His Nurse Lesly especially has been patiently taken care of required referrals and other things. All of Dr. Karr's staff has been so helpful on my journey to recovery. I know...the waiting time for Appointments is unfortunately a little long sometimes. But, it was all worthwhile for me in the End. Thank you all, for caring about your Patients!!"

"I’m genuinely not sure what’s going on at the office (whether it’s staff shortages, new employees, etc.), but I spent four weeks trying to schedule an appointment for my father to no avail after his PCP referred us to this clinic. I tried to give this clinic the benefit of the doubt after the PCP vouched for them, but I simply can’t stand by this. I tried calling, I left multiple voicemails, I filled out the online appt. request form that the VM suggests. Whenever I finally got an answer back from the online request form, it was an automated e-mail suggesting I register my dad via their online patient portal for easier scheduling which sounded great. One big problem - this doesn’t do anything if you aren’t an existing patient. Repeated this process for few more weeks, and I still haven’t been able to get someone on the phone or a simple response via email. It’s simply inexplicable that we couldn’t get one answer back - a simple yes or “no we can’t take new patients right now” - for almost a month. We waited a month because our PCP specifically vouched for this clinic, but unfortunately it was a waste of time. They didn’t even get in touch with us almost two weeks after the PCP sent them a referral/appointment request directly after we called the PCP's office for help. If the Gastro Clinic's owners are reading this, please address this if you aren’t aware; it’s truly a mind-blowing way to have your business run. Like, are Medicare patients just unwelcome or something? Because honestly, even a lie would’ve helped us move on sooner."
