"Had to ride my bicycle to my appointment there today. A officer Robinson, badge number 5275 stopped me after I parked my bicycle. I had parked the bicycle off to the left side. The cement area is 10 feet wide I parked my bicycle off to the side so not in the way, this officer had me move My bicycle off the sidewalk and since there is no bicycle parking areas at the clinic. Had to park a bicycle in a car parking space? Sounds insane, but that's the truth. You will see officer Robinson he is the security guard at Fort Johnson VA clinic. If you were not already stressed out before your appointment, dealing with a person such as this guy will really get you stressed. Can't park your bicycle to Fort Johnson VA. The stupid actions of this Robinson rent a cop really stressful."
"I hate this place. I understand now why they have security. Cant get anyone on the phone. Maybe all the security folks can start doing intake. This place is trash."
"Staff are always friendly, professional and willing to help. Was seen promptly. Have not been disappointed with the staff at the Fort Polk VA Clinic."
"They never answer the phone. Doctors and therapists quit regularly which makes the veteran suffer, needlessly. Many have transferred their care back to Alexandria va. The worst experience I ever had in years of going to the VA. The Va. needs to reevaluate if this clinic is necessary and track the harm they are doing in neglecting their most simplest of jobs, answering a phone and getting qualified doctors and therapist to stay more than a few days/months. A huge let down and makes receiving care by any veteran worrisome for their healthcare. The lab is the most reliable at this facility and the only bright spot at this VA clinic."
"This place is garbage. The only thing they do is take labs and give shots. Anytime I go in, which the only time available is 4-6 months from when I need to, I give my symptoms and I’m brushed aside. I finally got in for an appointment (which was set up 6 months ago) and complained that the sleeping medication the previous doctor prescribed was completely ineffective. This doctor’s response? We’ll increase from 1/2 tablet a night to a full tablet. I’ve complained about multiple symptoms and they are never even considered. Often just brushed aside. If there was a rating of 0-Stars, that’s what it would have gotten from me."
