"I was trying to find a new PCP, however I was told Dr. Lords clinic no longer accepts self pay patients. I guess you must have a insurance company they can stock it to before you are welcomed in their offices. I had been using this clinic off and on for many years and did have difficulty with one doctor, who is no longer there, so I thought I'd try them again. But they don't want me, so I'll be going elsewhere, out of town where I am welcomed as being as important as anyone else. And he's running as a representative for us. Ha."

"Nurse practitioner, ran all the test THEY wanted and sent a very large bill to insurance co. But never wanted to listen to why I was there in the first place, I needed a non controlled restless leg syndrome med and no did not get it and after they got there money she said I needed to get another dr.she didn't like the way I was questioning her, and I thought people were supposed to ask questions, go figure. But she was right If I need a real Dr. I don't want someone of her caliber near me.((( To follow up on the answer you gave, I am over 60 all I needed was a non narcotic medicine for restless leg syndrome and I told you I have taken it for years so what was I to do, all you did was run A LOT OF TEST THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH WHY I WAS THERE, you say you're not going to prescribe somebody medicine that they don't need or you don't know it then how do you know if I needed it or not without me telling you I took it needed it when my husband went to you, you gave him everything he asked for without proof))))"

"I have read the other reviews, and it almost seems like those folks have gone to a different office. I have dealt with physician offices for many years and have just come to expect mediocrity...I don't like that but it seems to have become the norm. I have very high standards and great attention to detail...and most folks just can't meet my standards nowadays. I have made two visits to this office and have dealt with NP Dowdle as my provider. I have been wowed by the friendliness and professionalism of each and every staff member--from receptionist to lab personnel to xray personnel to the billing manager--with whom I have dealt. Comfortable waiting room, no exceedingly long waits, always greeted with respect and a smile, any requests or questions have been met with honest and appropriate answers. I have also dealt with these folks on the phone a couple of times in followup...again, nothing but professionalism and making me feel valued and part of a healthcare team. Trust me, I am not at all reluctant to post bad reviews when I am dissatisfied; however, I do so enjoy being able to post a glowing review every now and then."

"I went to Dr. Lord for a physical which was a good experience (as good as a physical can be) He heard something that he didn't like in my heart and sent me to Dr. Mathew. After further tests at this time I will be having heart surgery. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Lord and his staff for his attention to that one small detail."
