Creole Cottage Uptown

"We rented one bed and one bathroom. But we found out that we were renting a shed with a bathroom. The place is very small! Nothing you can see on the pictures. If I can upload pictures, you will see. We had to drag our suitcases in a narrow and not well made "corrider" (I prayed that the wheels won't brake). They washed the sheets but the other covers, pillows and mat in the bathroom were dirty. I was not comfortable at all. The host was nice and helpful but nothing can make it up for this "place" I will never come back"

"A very quiet and relaxing place to stay. I very much enjoyed my visit. The owner Dominique was very helpful and accommodating."

"It was the absolute worst! We slept in our vehicle half the morning even tho we paid for early check in! We finally go in to be told our rooms had been rented. We had booked a month ahead! We paid 400 dollars only to hafta leave find another hotel and rush to get dressed to make our conference..."

This property is located in a safe, quiet neighbor within walking distance of the essentials and a short Uber/Lyft ride into the French Quarter. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, the Creole Cottage may not be for you. But, if you are looking for a clean, quiet, home-spun, New Orleans/European style Cottage, at a very reasonable rate, this IS definately the place for you."

"The next time I come to New Orleans, I’m staying here again. The owner was extremely nice and the room was comfortable. The location was great as week. We weren’t far from bourbon street as well as places to eat. The house was beautiful and clean!"
