Royal Inn of New Orleans

"This hotel was okay. Prices are a little high. Not many people were there during my stay. Mostly like 3 other cars in the parking lot. Biggest complaint, I was getting ice and had a guy ask me if I was getting ice. I said yeah then he asked me what room I was in. As if i was stealing ice or something? Never seen that dude except that one time. It wasn't a bad stay but I will not come back."

"The good: Sheets and bedding we're clean and well maintained. Parking lot was on good condition. Very hot shower, working mini fridge. The bad: Microwave was broken and made an absolutely aweful noise when we tried to use it. Wifi was horrible, barely usable when you got it to work. We were there 3 nights and the Internet worked for 20 minutes the second night on one computer, phones and other laptop couldn't use it."

"Two days for $130 isn't bad for a price. It was nice that the truck stop is right behind the place since I drive a truck but having to walk around the other hotel to get to it is annoying. The room was a king size bed, ac blows cold. Small hole in wall but wasn't bad. It's a descent deal for the price of it, and not a far drive from French quarter and zoo."
