"I loved this hotel. Off the beaten path but near everything I needed. The room was large and super cute. The front desk was very helpful. Hotel was quiet and very clean. I will definitely stay again. Down stairs from the hotel they offer tours. Hotel had a train station vibe."
"We had the weirdest experience at this place. We had just driven over 9hours to get to this place during our cross country road trip. We arrived around 8:30pm and found the building and it's parking lot to be dark and have no cars in the lot. We were immediately on guard. The building itself said it was a welcome center and a station. Eventually we saw a small sign on the door that said it was the hotel, however everything was dark and it looked like it was closed. We called and the man who answered told us that the power had gone out bc of a car accident (he was nearly unintelligible). We hesitantly decided to go inside, and the same person who answered the phone was working the "front desk" and had not a single ounce of hospitality in his bones. He didn't seem to think the hotel not having power was an issue. Noone called us to tell us before we got there either. He told us that the power company said the power would return at 8:30pm... It was now 8:35pm, so obviously it was unknown when it would actually be coming back on. He said he would bring us to our room but couldn't "check us in" whatever that means. I said "There's no power in the rooms though right?" To which he confirmed. It's not like we traveled with flashlights and lanterns to light our way through this hotel. We were so confused. Noone seemed to care or see that this was an unacceptable situation for people who were trying to check in. We said we would be back, but went right into the car and requested a full refund from Orbitz for the stay as there was no way in hell we were going to stay there. By the time I had finished getting it sorted, it was after 9pm and there was still no power. Now, I know things happen. It's not the power being out that bothered me the most, it was the lack of communication or hospitality of the hotel. It was super awkward and uncomfortable. We ended up staying at the Best Western Plus down the street for less money, and the parking lot there is gated, while this one was wide open for anyone to enter. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Super sketchy and doesn't seem legit."
"I loved this hotel! It was clean and so well maintained. The room that we had was huge. One of the coolest parts is our room overlooked St. Louis Cemetery #1. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is at the edge of the French Quarter which made it very easy to walk to for food and entertainment. It was also nice to have a quiet place to come back to at night. I would definitely come back in the future and recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans!"
"This is the cutest hotel. Our room was a lot bigger than we initially thought it would be. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our TV the first night. We had plans to explore during the day and then go to dinner at night. They were able to work on the tv and have it fixed before we got back for the night. I would definitely come back and stay here."
"Probably one of the best places we've stayed in! Our room, #208, was huge and the view out one set of windows looked at St Louis Cemetery #1. It was awesome! Super clean room and staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Location was perfect! Used Curb app for cabs which was about 0.3-0.5 miles away from downtown which only cost about $5-7. Simple!"
