Merryton Inn

"I needed somewhere to lay for the night; so i came to this motel. Now the customer service was fine. It was great. But seeing 3 roaches before i got to my room was ridiculous. Then get to my room the AC/Heat unit wasnt working probbly, no remote to tv, comforter had a big hole in it, bumping going on all night from people up above me and then i wake up and the bathroom area is flooded and cailing is linking. I barely got any sleep because i was scaredva roach or bug was gonba climb in the bed with me. This hotel needs to be torn down or remodeled. Section 8 housing looks better and smells better then this hotel. I call and ask about getting something off the room and manager said they dont do that. Oh yeah and im not even from here."

"Didn't get to stay because I'm having trouble with the Serve card from American Express!!! And customer service can't register the card so that sucks and my phones acting weird as hell so I'ma get a replacement phone today maybe that will fix everything and I won't have to commit a homicide then a suicide at the same time no I'll just drive right off a cliff thanks y'all for wasting time with us me and my Bo"

"This place has bed bugs badly!! Very nasty and people running up and down hallways smoking weed and every other drug they can get."

"RUN! Under a bridge would be better! Left as soon as we saw the room. Room smelled. Bugs, mulitple kinds. BED BUGS! Cigarette burns all over tub. Tub was nasty. Sheets did not cover mattresses. Mattresses appeared dirty. Holes in the walls and ceiling. Mirror was about to fall off the wall. Towels looked dirty. Lights didn't work in the main room. The chair was too nasty to sit on. Each bed had one small flat pillow. Night stand had no top drawer. Garbage under nightstand. OLD TV that was not even plugged in. Dresser drawers did not close properly. Door was broken. Would not close all the way. Only way to keep it shut was the dead bolt. Door appeared to have been broken into. Entire building hot! Employees were walking around with towels around their neck. The air in the room was barely blowing and barely cool! Employees were nice and should have better working conditions. This place needs to be REPORTED. Of course no refund! Did not seem like a safe environment. We booked this room because our power was out. My 89 year old grandmother is prone to dehydration. We were trying to keep her cool. This facility is falsely represented online! It is nothing like the advertised image!!!"

"Cigarette holes burned in sheets and mattress, sheets did not appear to be clean, holes in the wall, cracked window, no pillows on the bed. No refund for refusal to stay. Avoid this place. The only positive thing was a kind lady at the desk. She deserves a better place to work!"
