"I was here for a short trip, but the staff were terrific. Overly apologetic about the renovations and very warm to my wife and I. I was on the 2nd floor, which is not renovated, and experienced an issue with the wifi and some mold in the corner of the tub. The manager apologized and assured me that the next time I come I would be in a renovated room. I will definitely give them another shot based on the service."
"If smells could talk…. As a diamond member of Hilton, I usually have high expectations and pleasant experiences, but my recent stay at this Hilton Garden Inn was appalling and a complete letdown. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by a musty, moldy smell that seemed to permeate every corner of the hotel. The condition of the facilities was shockingly poor, with visible signs of neglect and disrepair. In my room, the situation was no better. The walls and furnishings appeared old and worn out, with some areas torn up, making me question the overall maintenance of the hotel. The most distressing part was the unbearable smell of mold in my room, which made it almost impossible to breathe comfortably. I’ve had better nights sleeping in my car than trying to rest in such an unhealthy environment. I am deeply disappointed with this experience. It was far below the standard expected from a Hilton establishment, especially for a loyal diamond member. I hope my feedback serves as a wake-up call for the management to take immediate action and rectify these unacceptable conditions. Rating: 1/5 (Only because zero isn’t an option)"
"This was the absolute worst Hilton property I have ever stayed at. Do not stay here! Smelled like weed at the entrance. Housekeeping needs refreshers on how to clean. Place smelled like mildew and mold. Shower had no water pressure. Covers on the thermostat fell off when changed the temperature. Curtains were falling off. There was no remote in the room, so my husband went down to get one and he was given a remote with tape holding the batteries in. Called front desk to get a blanket and no answer. This hotel has apparently has been under construction for atleast 6 months. I think thats their excuse why this property is so bad. This place needs to be demolished not renovated. Had no idea there was another Hilton Garden inn probably 10 minutes away right off the interstate. Motel 6 would have been a step up from this place. You have been warned! Too bad I had to give it one star!"
"The room we were provided was on the first floor and we were told it was a newly renovated room. There were a few small missing items. No garbage cans , no Toilet paper holder, soap dish, shelves for the towels or hooks to hang them on. Maybe this room should have been completely finished. When I purchase a item I expect it to be complete, don't you? Well this purchase was not completed."
"We were a group traveling some 3 and 5hrs by car and motorcycle. When we arrived after check-in(after 5pm) our rooms were not ready. We were everywhere(some on every floor), group was not together and we made prior reservations so they knew we were coming. The front desk attendees were nice but the male bartender was very dry with us and rude. He was very welcoming and entertaining to the white guest at the bar but took his time and was short with our group who ordered food and drinks. The lady bartender who worked the next day was awesome and we requested a drink she didn't know how to make but was nice to asked how and made it with perfection. The police was called on us by a guest for some bikes being in the handicap space but they had stickers so it was pointless, there were plenty of Handicap spaces for any guest staying there. We love to enjoy ourselves but we are not and were not a rowdy bunch. This is a trip we make every year in September when bike(Motorcycle) season comes to an end due to cold weather season, not sure if we will book this hotel next year which has been the host hotel for this event every year. I hope if we do book next year that they inform the guest that it will be loud from all the HARLEY pipes and music. We enjoyed ourselves as always and ready for next year. Thanks Shreveport!!!"
