Cosimo's Bar

"This is cool bar that seems to attract a dedicated cadre of locals and here you can usually escape the tourist hordes of the quarter. They currently rent out their kitchen to different vendors so you never know who might be running the kitchen and what they might be serving unless you research it. They used to have a really great burger here for years which was on the larger side and had some juicy deliciousness but of late they have had some vendors doing pizza and recently they added burgers to the selection. This is a dog friendly bar as it is right next to the dog park and so it attracts lots of dog lovers. The service is friendly and attentive along with often being entertaining. The prices are generally affordable and not the typical tourist rip off many places in the quarter have degraded into. "One of my favorite spots in quarter. It is literally like going to your friend's house. Merry people, good food and dogs. The good mood extends around the corner and even across the street with sometimes people setting up a couple of chairs to hang out at a local crawfish boil food truck. I've had some great times here already."

"Good location. GET THE PIZZA! It was hard to get to the order window with so many people at the bar but totally worth the effort and wait. The dough tastes fresh and the cheese is plentiful."
