"Was given a purse from my sis for Xmas. Went with receipt in hand to exchange for a bigger (ie more expensive. Receipt specifically says returns/exchanges allowed with receipt. Told that doesn’t apply to purses. What??? My sis was NOT told this or never would have bought a gift there. Way too many better stores on Met Rd... hope the $38.00 was worth loss of future business."

"I was visiting New Orleans from Canada when I realized I forgot my dress for a big dinner reception, just hours before the event! I stumbled into Bella Bella in a panic, thinking I'd have to skip my event, but as soon as I walked through the doors I was calmed by the store manager! Canadians might be known for being friendly, but I've NEVER experienced such amazing and genuine customer service north of the 49th parallel! I described the event and its venue to Catherine, and within minutes she'd sent me into the change room with five or six dresses, and accompanying shoes -- all even more stunning than the outfit I'd planned to wear! ...now I understand why rich people pay for personal shoppers... serious celebrity treatment! I ended up leaving with the perfect look for the night, plus an extra dress for my cousin's wedding, and the cutest fannypack, just for fun.
