"Po'Boy. I got a half fried shrimp, half fried oysters dressing was great. Bread was excellent. It's a hole in the wall and I love it!"
"Great place for a poboy and hospitality if you are in the area. The special had a mix of meats that were plentiful. The meat pairs great with the fresh veggies and fresh bread. Totally worth a stop if you are in the area. You can tell that they have a bunch of regulars that they know by name."
"Multiple Reddit reviews said this was THE place for shrimp poboys. The bread was fresh but the poboy itself was nothing special. The shrimp had no seasoning and a few were underdone. They have a great location near the college, so that likely keeps them busy. My husband had a ham sandwich and it was also nothing special. However, cool spot for lunch and friendly staff."
"We were on our way from lake Charles to New Orleans and we were looking for a lunch stop. I found this gem in Lafayette! Apparently they have been serving up Po boys for decades! And it shows. We got 3 full sized Po boys to share amongst 4 people and it was plenty. We got the shrimp, oyster and olde tyme special. I enjoyed the shrimp one the best by far. It was packed to the brim with friend shrimp. My second was the special as that one literally was overflowing with meat. We got them all fully dressed, best way. The sauces totally made the sandwich. When you walk in, it’s deceptively large, they have a large dining room in the middle and an even larger courtyard."
"Friend Shrimp Po-boy was delicious. Highly recommend it. Add some Tabasco and creole seasoning and it really made it have a kick. They had other things on the menu but the staff specifically said they sells 100’s of those things a day. Well I see why! Place has a nice sit down spot to eat and enjoy your meal. You can also take it to go. Great spot to get a quick bite in Lafayette!"
