"I was served cold potato soup. It was so cold that the cheese never melted in the bowl. I asked to talk with the manager and she was very cocky. Her mind was already set on not offering a solution. I asked that in place of the soup, I be given a dessert as my 3 item menu special. She basically said it couldn't be done and we all know Mangers can do whatever they choose to make a customer satisfied. The point was not about the price but just the courtesy of an item being ill prepared I was disappointed because I eat there a lot but today is my last day. And to add insult to the injury they added a table entertainment charge of $2.99 on to my bill which the waiter had removed. The manger has poor people skills. I oberserved her deal with another party at a different table and she was very open to their complaints, I heard her say that she assured the other guest that the situation would be ok and resolved. I guess me being black and a male she has run out of courtesy when she was called for my situation. She offered me more soup but by that time her attitude killed my appetite"
"The place was dead. As soon as we walked in we were seated I think by I don’t know maybe a kitchen worker she said your server will be right with you and then left. We waited about 15 minutes. The people at the bar looked at us when we were there, about 20 minutes later, I get up to go to the bar to get someone’s attention to let them know that we had been waiting to bartenders look at me. They talk to each other and never acknowledge me until finally, our server saw me and spoke through her walki , saying “thanks for letting me know. I had a table guys”. She was super apologetic and gave us a rundown of the whole environment and staff she gave us complementary chips and salsa and continue to Apologize if she wouldn’t have been so nice and cordial we would’ve left. We were already talking about leaving. The food was good came out, hot and fresh so not really any complaints there although the presentation of my burger which was a Texas rancher, the presentation could’ve been a bit Better."
"Menu and payment kiosk felt sticky, appetizers took over 30 minutes to arrive at the table, chicken tenders are very obviously frozen and overbreaded, the waitress offered an apology, but then suggested to save time that we pay for our food BEFORE it arrived!"
"I came to this restaurant for lunch on my way back to TX with my family, I had a really bad experience. We weren’t serviced right, literally felt neglected, don’t know if cause we’re Hispanic or cause our server was in a bad mood but we were ignored while the others were serviced. I definitely wouldn’t bring my money here. Also the food wasn't good, the wings I ordered were undercooked and had to ask 3 different people for drinks. Once we paid we didn’t get a receipt went to ask for one from the bar and lady was super rude! Definitely don’t come here especially if you’re Hispanic."
"Generally, if the food or service is "ehhh", I don't leave a bad review. I figure people are having a bad day, maybe some equipment is off, or something else. I try to write it off and give them the benefit of the doubt. That being said, Chili's really let me down today. First, I called my order in versus using an app. Very professional and answered all my questions. No issues there. When I pulled into a spot, I had received a text with a link to pay. Great. Except the website it took me to had options for 18, 20, & 25% tip. If I tried to change to custom tip, the site stalled/crashed. If I'm sitting in a restaurant, I always tip. If the service is great, I'm all for 22-25%. But to place it in a bag and walk 40 feet, I'm gonna tip less. The website was having none of that. After about 10 times, I finally gave in and tipped 18% Then Ashley came out and checked in with me. Very polite with a friendly smile. Told her I called in and she was happy to check on it. Received my order promptly, with a smile and thanks. That where the good news end, sadly. I order the Triple Bites appetizer. 1 of the 2 burger bites patty was burn, and I ended up just eating the other 1. The Buffalo Boneless wings had a funny taste to them, and the Ranch didn't help. But my favorite item, the Southwest Egg-rolls, was so undercooked that the roll actually drooped when I picked it up. I pulled one apart and it was still doughy inside. Ugh! So disappointed. Not sure what's happening at Chili's, but aside from Ashley and the sweet tea, this lunch was a total loss. I don't think I'll be trying them again anytime soon."
