"A mouthwatering burst of flavor! I like every thing but, my favorite would have to be OXTAIL WEDNESDAYS and can't forget your lemonade as a drink. The taste is mind blowing and for sure makes you want more."
"I go to Moore's almost every Monday to get his smothered sausage with rice and gravy and white beans. It is simply the best I've ever had. BBQ is great, spaghetti is great, smothered meatballs are great.... yes, it's all good. You will NOT be disappointed."
"Look I'll be the first to admit I really wasn't that familiar with many of the restaurants in the New Iberia area. But after working here for a week I am thoroughly impressed by the food and the restaurant owners and workers. I want to thank the young lady working the register at Moore's today she was exceptional. I ordered the crawfish etouffee which came with fried fish, white rice, green beans and potato salad. I really have no complaints about this meal it was really good and the amount of food received is what one would expect. This is definitely a hole in the wall. But a hole in the wall with a bunch of really nice people coming in and out ordering food to go. I had great conversations with other customers who were also waiting for their food. Most definitely a go to place whenever I come back in the area."
"Finally tried Moore’s, great little take out spot with a rich history. The fried chicken was hot and crispy and seasoned well. The rice and gravy was wow so good but on the spicy side. I’m not a collard greens fan but I might be after having them the right way here. So much flavor going on but again kinda spicy. I hardly recognized the smothered okra again heavily seasoned and really spicy. If you have a problem with heat this might not be the place for you. But if you brave bold flavors give it a try. I will definitely come back. One suggestion would be let the fried foods cool a bit before putting them in the styrofoam covered plates, the chicken melted completely through the top. I had 2 big holes. Sadly I didn’t want to eat the sections of chicken that caused it. Not into the chemical additives. Other than that it was good"
"Amazing food. Down home cooking!! You have to try them. You'll be happy birthday that you did and I'd guarantee that you'd be back!"
