"We were passing through this area on the way home. We were hungry but didn't want burgers or chicken. I saw the sign with what looked like a Craw fishing it, and thought Louisiana, probably a good place to eat seafood. Boy was I right! Walked in to a very large dining room met by friendly staff and seated immediately. Ordered appetizers, stuffed jalapeno and "Hazel" onion rings in honor or my grandmother. Onion rings were hands down the best I've ever had. The batter was light and crunchy, well seasoned cut to a perfect size, the onion delicious. Stuffed jalapenos looked more like a large tater tot. It was such a sensory delight, taste, textures, seasoning with a perfect blend of jalapeno. Wow, best ever. I had the cat fish dinner which as a true fan of fried catfish lover, was in heaven. Lightly dusted with a layer of cornmeal then deep fried to to a perfect golden brown without compromising the flake white meat beneath. It was perfect for me. Service was quick courteous and friendly. Great stop! If I'm ever back this way, I'll be back!!!"
