Cafe Du Jour @ The Whistle Stop

"This place was GREAT all around! Immediately when you walk in, the atmosphere just makes you feel like you are sitting in a café in France. I sat near a window and it just felt like I was in a different country. The staff are super friendly and helpful as well. Just when I thought it couldn't get much better, our food came out. Their sandwiches are some of the BEST sandwiches I have ever had. I was talking with my mother, and she said that it was the first meal in a little while that she thought was worth every penny. If you are looking for a great French atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing food all in one, this restauraunt is the right place for you."

"My daughter was wanting to get something to eat here, so we did. According to google, the restaurant closed at 3:30, we had about an hour. Upon arrival, the sign said they closed in 30 minutes. As we walked in, behind another gentleman that had also just arrived, we were given a look by the owner for what I assume was disapproval. The other staff members were polite and very courteous and even sold us some delicious cake balls after closing. The food was very good and we were all very appreciative of the hospitality."

"You will be PLEASANTLY surprised by this AWESOME CAFE! My guy and I enjoyed a grilled chicken salad and had bowls of the corn and shrimp soup. The staff is friendly and doesn't mind interacting with patrons to help them figure out what may befit their appetites. This place is definitely the type of spot you drive to from afar just to dine-in for great food."

"Very nice warm atmosphere. Morning biscuits are fantastic just by themselves or add simply a fried egg or even sausage or bacon. Coffee of any style will leave you pleasantly satisfied. They open at 6:00 in the morning so it’s nice to stop by on the way to work for an order to be put together quickly and then on your way."
