"Went for lunch with hubby. Not busy at all and was seated quickly. The food was great, so was service."
"Cheese fries came with unmelted cheese and shrimp weren't cleaned all the way tru. When I'm paying this much for food I expect the shrimp to be clean and food to taste decent. This place sucks. All the food was from Walmart."
"First real Cajun restaurant I’ve been to in my time here in Deridder. Had the Boudin ball to start. So good had to order another. Ordered the chicken and sausage gumbo with pistolete ,side salad, and a side of potato salad . First time ever and it was delicious I’ll repeat for those in the back, DELICIOUS. Prices were on par for the quantity and quality of the food. Will try again before leaving Deridder when the bat is actually open. Note to self don’t go on Sunday expecting a drink."
"Cool place to eat, menu was pretty impressive. I ended up ordering the captians platter not knowing what I was in for. This thing was massive. My main complaint is that I'd like to see some of the items not fried. There comes a point where it just all tastes the same. That whole platter was fried and it just all tasted the same. I had imagined boiled or grilled shrimp, steamed or grilled oysters. I think that may have been better. I believe the platter was $34.99 after tip it was about $45 ish."
"We were visiting Deridder for the week and ate here 2 times. The Cajun and fire grilled oysters were 5 star! Big C that cooks and cleans the oysters does an amazing job of getting them perfect! The gumbo was spicy but so very delicious! I also had the cheeseburger and it was great also! Don’t hesitate to stop in and have a great meal!"
