"It's so rare to see a restaurant give back to its community. Every Christmas don juanz decorates beautifully and, without getting political, coordinates a Salvation Army Angel Tree where customers can pull a child's Christmas wish-list off the tree and fulfill a dream. They had me at the Angel Tree, but they also make great tacos too. These pacific rim tacos with seared sushi-grade tuna are a work of art and taste as good as they look. The world needs more Don Juanz."

"This place is never a disappointment. Great food and drinks, friendly service, awesome atmosphere. The baja shrimp tacos with Gulf caught shrimp rock and I love that they use wild-caught seafood instead of farm raised seafood."
"Absolute Shreveport staple with strong margaritas, excellent quesadillas and tacos, and some of the best nachos you will ever eat. Nothing fancy here, but the classics are solid. The Shreve location is by far the best atmosphere in the chain. Service is spot on and it’s a total zoo during peak hours, but definitely worth a visit. The bar is an absolute gem as well."
