"I love going here with my dog!! Whether it’s winter, spring, summer, fall, it’s always so pretty. The roads are pretty easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. I don’t have a boat or anything but I like seeing the different kinds of boats that arrive from the outer part of the lake."
"Great place to kayak! Beautiful all year long. Sometimes the bathrooms are locked, which is a bummer. But so far it's my favorite spot in the region."
"Haven't been there for a bit, suprised yet excited to see the parking expansion. Now there is a middle lot, (old upper) and an upper lot, (new), with a walking path. Entrance booth has been moved up to the gate. Nice work Pacific Corp."
"Great place. Pretty/clean lake, roped off swim area for kids, boat ramp, clean male/female restroom facilities, many picnic tables around the trees, & one covered picnic area closer to the parking lot. There's not TONS of parking, so arrive early. $5 parking fee. Fyi, park gets windy around 2pm. Goose poop though. Yeah."
"Speelyai Bay is pretty cool. It's a great boat launch that's not typically too crowded during the week. You don't have to pay for parking Monday-Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday the parking fee is $5. The parking is a bit limited, so if you're coming on a weekend, come early. There is overflow parking a bit up the hill (yes, cars with trailers can park there too). There are lots of picnic tables. The beach area isn't great . . . kinda like dirty sand. And it's pretty small. But off to the side of the swimming area, it drops off quickly so it's a great place to park a jet ski. The swimming area is enclosed, and safe for kids. There are clean, well-stocked bathrooms that are wheelchair-accessible. Lots of people fish here. Kokanee are the primary target for most folks fishing here. Speelyai is a great place to launch a boat or to just chill and swim. Oh, kayaking and paddle boarding are popular activities too! And, it's beautiful!"
