"Great little pit stop with picnic tables, a portapotty, and a view. I think there is a sign pointing out this spot as a "viewpoint," and upon entering, there is plenty of space for cars to park. There are no real signs of bugs or wildlife, but an amazing view of the blue lake, and it seems there may be a path to walk down (which I did not take). We took a little break here after hiking Mt Ellinor Trail (which can explain the dust on my husband's shirt) to have a sandwich/snack at the picnic tables and it was pleasant."

"My fiance took me here as a lil surprise. I'm do grateful he did. The look out took my breath away. Really beautiful and wonderful lil spot. Not crowded at all. We stayed here for about 15 min just really enjoying the view and the gorgeous mountain range. Really recommend stopping buy to just enjoying some mother nature's beauty."

"Perfect spot for a scenic picnic, to take pictures, or to do some art. Great views of the lake and some of the Olympic Mountains. Accessible regardless of age or ability. One stinky portapotty but it was ok enough for everyone. No trails down to the lake - at least none that didn't seem death defying. Short drive down to the swimming areas."

"Beautiful location with a couple of picnic tables & a big space for parking. Quiet and peaceful, definitely a hidden gem! Found when searching for “secret parks near me”. Closes at dusk, beautiful area to see a kickass sunset or sunrise I would imagine being amazing as well! The road going up there is very windy and I would recommend going the speed limit!! I was in and out of service areas as well, and there was no cell reception at the actual lookout location. There were trails to possibly have a different view right in front of the picnic tables, but I didn’t explore as I had wanted to paint. Anyone in the area I would 100% recommend going to see this! It’s Washington beauty at its finest!!"
