"100% must go, bring a snack and relax. The hike from the parking lot to cove isn’t very difficult, but can be tricky if you aren’t wearing shoes with tread. It will be muddy and you will probably slip!"
"Feels like you're on the set for a pirate moive even with the overcast. Will definitely check this place out when the weather's better. It's also only a short hike, and the trails not too bad in the rain would recommend waterproof shoes dont make my mistake."
"Well that $10 is 100% worth it! It first starts off with an old fort then as you continue on the trail you Make it to Deadman’s Cove. What a wonderful and very beautiful place to go see and just sit down and relax! I highly recommend it if and big if you are able to get down to it. The stairs are like half there the rest is off trail in a sense. But worth it if you can make it down but it does seem from past reviews stairs are a working progress."
"The trail up to the information center is paved then the trail to the lighthouse is a dirt trail. Well maintained but very steep in some places. We stopped at Deadmans Cove to take some pictures of King Tide. Daily pass is $10 or $30 for an annual pass"
"As others have said, this place is beautiful and magical. I was going for the lighthouse and this was a nice surprise. There were jellyfish all along the shoreline when I went and didn't go at an optimal time for lighting for photos as the sun was directly in our faces but that didn't stop it from being visually gorgeous. Watch your steps on the way down and you'll be fine. I love that it seems like it's waiting to be found. Absolutely worth the stop to see it. The cost for parking is $10 and gets you to this and the lighthouse."
