"The falls are a must see! It is definitely one of the more iconic locations in Olympic. I loved taking photos of the bridge overlooking the falls. There were a ton of great photo opportunities along the trail too. The hike itself was fairly easy. Good for all ages. There was a decent sized parking lot and we had no issue parking on a late Sunday afternoon in September. The trails were a bit crowded, but not burdensome by any means."
"This is a fantastic 1.6-mile hike that's easy, with only minimal, gradual elevation gains at times. You can complete it in a quick 45 minutes. It can get quite busy, but I opted for an early morning visit, and it wasn't too crowded. Restrooms were not clean, avoid to use."
"We arrived 11am to light-moderate crowds. Hike is gorgeous. Extremely uneven, with roots and variant ground texture. Well maintained overall, just a little rough for folks with walking challenges. Consider walking stick, we saw many using 1 or 2. The Sol Duc falls are stunning. Even at lighter flow like we saw in late August. Go! See for yourself. It's worth it!"
"Nice trail, but if you are carrying a kiddo on your shoulders, it might not be the easiest hike. Otherwise, very nice and quiet and very enjoyable trail. The falls is really nice, we stayed there for couple of minutes enjoying it. Parking was a bit harder to find on a Friday at 3:30pm, but if you wait for 3-5 mins you can surely find something. Restroom available, acceptable given you’re in the middle of nowhere."
"The hike was moderate but beautiful. In case you don't have a America is beautiful pass, you may have to pay entrance fee if you want to reach here. Since it is a popular hike, expect lot of people on the trail(specially in summer) and be ready to wait a bit to find a parking spot. But the hike and the views throughout the trail and the waterfall is worth every penny."
