Freshwater Bay County Park

Freshwater Bay County Park is a beautiful 21.07-acre park located on the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Port Angeles, Washington. With 1,450 feet of public tidelands, this park offers a variety of recreational activities for visitors to enjoy year-round. The lower picnic site, concrete launch ramp, sanikan, and beach access areas are open all year, while the upper secluded five-acre picnic area surrounded by lush vegetation is open from May 15 through September 15.

Visitors can partake in fishing, boating (small boats 17 feet or smaller), crabbing, birdwatching, and picnicking at Freshwater Bay County Park. The tranquil waters of Freshwater Bay are perfect for launching kayaks and small boats, where you may have the opportunity to encounter marine mammals such as river otters, orcas, harbor seals, dolphins, and whales.
