"Has to be one of my favorite places on earth. Great beach. A waterfall and so much sea life"
"We stopped here during our camping trip exploring northern Olympic Peninsula. Threw some kayaks in easily. Water was calm, clear with sandy bottoms. Great spot close to open water, easily found parking."
"I was here from about 3:30pm-6pm and the tide was coming in, but was out far enough to travel far on both sides of the beach from the parking lot. FILLED with beautiful sea life and pretty rocks, even some beach glass if you're into that kind of thing. My sig. other had been here previously many hours earlier in the day and said because the tide is so far out, there is SO much more to see and explore. Multicolored hermit crabs, etc that i wasnt able to see much of. Although, we were given a sea otter show about 20 feet away of a mother and 3 pups very interested in us. Lots of volcanic rocks and a few landslide areas you can see along the beachfront that have succulents growing in vines alongside. This place was too perfect. Not too bad of a drive from Chimacum area, about 1.5 hrs drive there. Lots of shade from trees and a Honeybucket for quick bathroom use, otherwise there is an entire Day Use Area on the way in you can use with a whole rest area bathroom and picnic benches and trails around. Lots of fun!"
"Absolutely gorgeous little boat launch area where you can sit at some benches and watch the tides come in and out!!!"
"Check the tide tables before you go. Not much room to walk the beach at high tide. Aside from that, it's a beautiful beach. Pet friendly and not usually busy. Great place to have a picnic but there's only 1 picnic table so it's not a bad idea to bring a picnic blanket to lay on the gravel just in case. There is one outhouse (no plumbing) Since there's already plenty of pictures posted, so I'll post one of the information board that's on site. 4 out of 5 stars because it is a bit out of the way, and only 1 picnic table."
