"Absolutely beautiful. From the trail head it’s a short 20 minute or so hike. Easy hike so no worries. A bit muddy in areas but no big deal. We went in early March and the sun came out and warmed it up a bit. Do note that the cliffs are a shear drop, so stay away from the edge. Make sure to get the Makah Indian reservation recreation permit. We got ours online. Simply google Makah tribe and navigate to attractions. Click on Cape Flattery and hit the link for the permit. It’s $20 and good for a year. Restrooms at the trail head are rather nasty so be prepared for that. There is RV parking at the trail head and a turn around loop for RVs that that is good! Enjoy it!"
"Long drive but absolutely beautiful (my son 5 was upset we couldn’t go down to the water - not sure if there is a trail or way down but definitely worth it. Also $20 tribal pass required they take cash or card :)"
"Beautiful scenery, visited here in September with a group of friends and we had the most lovely time! The trails are well developed but narrow, so be prepared to step/hop off the trail to let others pass!"
"The drive was a peaceful 5 miles from town, takes you through a recent clear-cut area to reach a surprisingly bustling parking area. The trail is just a mile in, leading to several charming small overlooks. While there are a few narrow sections along the boardwalk trail that might slow you down, it's not a big issue at all. The scenery is simply stunning! It would be crowded during the weekend."
"! It was a quiet 5 mi drive drive to the parking area from town through a recent clear cut to a surprisingly busy parking area. The trail was a mile in to several small overlooks. Some narrow parts of the boardwalk portion of the trail make it slow to pass but no biggie at all. It’s gorgeous."
