"Pretty soft sand and tons of driftwood along the beach. You can see the lighthouse from the parking lot near the jetty. It is better to park near the boardwalk as the area by the jetty is completely covered with driftwood logs, making it very hard to climb over. Parking was $10 for the day if you didn’t have an annual pass."

"Best place on the pennisula to take your kids for safe water cant get any better. If you're feeling like a small hike, go to Deadman Cove. It's unforgettable and a piece of paradise you never knew the long beach pennisula has."

"This place was SO cool!! Visited on Black Friday and it wasn't too busy. This was a really cool little area with interesting looking sand and TREMENDOUS waves that were a sight to see(and hear!). It was an easy and short walk down to the beach but there is a bit of driftwood you have to navigate to get down to the water, but there are little paths in it. Overall a super cool little stop! Great photo ops!"
