"Location is in the center of downtown Seattle but doesn’t feel like it during our visit: March. Staff service was attentive and welcoming when we checked it. Front desk clerk made sure we were thoroughly taken care of by means of checking in; verifying our identity, etc. Before we checked in/met the city, two follow up calls were made to verify that we were still checking in, transportation was taken care of; making sure we knew how to get to the location. Overall, the check in experience was efficiently done and successful. We were informed about the activity of the day: wine night, offered recommendations on what to see and eat in Seattle, & also directions on how to leave by our own choice of transportation."
"Yes, it's a time share. Yes they push really really hard to get you to buy in. You talk with three different people before they let you go to your room. The rooms are nice. Mine didn't have a working heater in the living room. I had mentioned it to the front desk and someone brought up a standing portable heater to use during my week stay. Then, at the end of the stay, they were shocked to hear that no one had still yet to come to fix the heat. You best believe they had someone out installing the Chromecast but not the heat. The lack of communication throughout the process was crazy. There were records of them giving me an extra heater. Me telling check out. The lengthy survey response I gave afterwards. I was then yet again asked to retell my story by Amanda, Resort Experience Specialist, who contacted me after my survey. When I told her I would not rewrite it yet again but would elaborate on points she had questions on from my survey response, she stopped communicating with me. Not the best Experience. The location was great to quite a number of bus stops, monorail, and other transportation. A good walk to Pikes Market. Didn't use the game room but saw plenty of others. The hot tub was not as hot as myself and others would have liked but still good after a long day of walking. Didn't participate in the happy hour but saw others enjoying the cheese trays and wine. I utilized the laundry facility with the provided soap which was nice. Would I have stayed here if I wasn't able to use the points? No. There is no central AC or heat in the build which they do mention on their site. If I hadn't been more exhausted after my travels each day to do more than sit on the couch in front of the space heater, they would have gotten less stars. Just be aware of when you go that their communication or maintenance is not the best but it is convenient to local things. Go for that, not for the building and you'll be okay."
"We had the best customer service experience staying here. Everyone seemed more than happy to answer questions or help us. It is only about 2 blocks to the convention center and about 10 blocks to Pikes Street Market - so very walkable to any of the sights. The monorail is very close which goes to the Space Needle and Music/Rock Museum. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. But, the star of the show was really the staff! And, I mean everyone was just so helpful and friendly."
"Great stay, nice rooms, older hotel but they have remodeled it, and did a great job. Rich history. Check out top floor observation room, it a nice quit place to relax."
"Had a great experience here. The hotel and rooms were clean and had an old world charm. The common room with pool table and coffee station was a nice place to hang out away from your travel mates. The front of house staff were stars, especially Lana at the concierge. She recommended a couple restaurants and bars for after the show we were in Seattle to see, and when we told her we didn’t drink specifically pointed out spots that had mocktails. She made our trip better!"
