"Lived here for 8 years, and saw a lot of staff come and go. Several large homeless encampments in the area, many homeless who would find their way into the building. Rent was reasonable in the years we were there. In August 2020, a homeless person snuck into the building and set fire to the emergency exits in the A-Building. Smoke damage was everywhere in the building, and I had to DEMAND and yell that Willow's Court do something about the needed cleaning. Due to COVID, we were able to break our lease, and move into a apartment complex with sprinklers (building does not have sprinklers due to being so old, and can avoid them due to code). I'm giving Willow's Court a 3/5, since the first 7 years were above average/good, but the last year we were there, the management really dropped in quality. There are more practical and safer places to live in Lake City."
"First of all just wanted to say that management is super sweet and the apartments are nice. However for the amount that we pay, there’s no reason I should be seeing homeless people on the elevators constantly doing suspicious activities. It’s very scary especially at night, I don’t know why they haven’t added security cameras yet or tried to tackle this problem. I was using the stairs at night when I saw a homeless man that scared me to death. For that reason, I will be moving out of here ASAP because there’s no reason that we pay this much in rent and management doesn’t want to put security cameras and make us feel unsafe. Unbelievable"
"Recently went through the process of searching for apartments in the Seattle suburbs. The staff was very respectful. They were also super helpful getting me started and letting me know the opportunities they and the surround area has."
"Don’t expect them to fix anything. Maintenance doesn’t do the job right if they do come. When I moved in all the sinks were leaking. The balcony was filthy with gum and dirt (was told they would power wash and never did). Since living there for a year we had stuff just fall off the hinges multiple times even after maintenance “fixed it”. My roommates and I both got our laundry stolen from the laundry facilities (and I’m not talking a couple items like people will steal loads of laundry). Of course the building doesn’t do anything about it. Oh and don’t expect a security deposit back."
"Been living here for three years and I have zero complaints! The management has changed recently, but there have been no negative side effects from that. There is always a notice before work is done in my apartment and the one time I requested work done it was done quickly and effectively. Shelia in the office is a delight! My one complaint is the rent increase, but that's just Seattle in general, not Willows Court specifically. I would definitely recommend this building to apartment seekers!"
