"Campgrounds are nice, but campsites are quite small. Can hear the train and cars pass by but didn’t bother us too much. Firewood available for purchase from camp host for $7/bundle, and beach is quite nice, but you do have to walk from the campsite."
"Train tracks 50 yards from campground, 3 or 4 came through between midnight and 7am. Sites are tight, also the road is 20 yards off other side of the campground. If you're in a tent, move on, if you have a rig and earplugs, maybe. I ended up eating my reservation and going to Birch Bay SP and was delighted with the choice, solitude, cleanliness, hiking trails and beach there."
"Well maintained. Showers are free. Nice campsites. Park for kiddos. Access to beach. Lots of trails in and across the park. You will see bunnies, ravens, robins, etc. Enjoy the sunset!"
"This campground is very nice in the summer and warmer temperatures! The beach is fantastic and the views from the trails are spot on! Each campground is divided between power and no power, so choose which location you'd like most! There is a lack of internet at the campsites however, so if you need it for anything, I would consider that as something to look at."
"Great spot to camp with a beautiful beach nearby and miles of trails. Easy access to Bellingham by bike or car. 26 full utility sites and a bunch of standard ones, standard state park pricing structure that varies by season and amenities as well as the relative desirability of each site. Most of the sites are economy or basic, not aware of any in the popular tier. Standard state park bathrooms with showers, here they are coin operated instead of using tokens. Would rate it 5 star due to the beauty of the place and proximity to beach and hiking trails, but road noise can be a little annoying, and many site pads are not flat. Also, I love it, but many people will find the trains running through the park to be loud, and they run from early morning to late at night."
