"If you like this beach you will love Clayton beach. Both beaches grow and shrink substantially with the tides."
"Beautiful, amazing place! For me, a winter or fall favorite. The smell of green, the salt air, the loamy earth after a rain, it's perfect."
"Great state park right on the Bellingham bay. Good walking trails, camping and even some wildlife. There’s even an amphitheater if you want to put on a rap battle… or orchestral performance… or both."
"It’s a nice beach for children to learn about marine life at low tide. There are tide pools between and on some rocks at low tide. Some small children were collecting sea stars that were out of the water and putting them back in the water. At low tide the beach would be much smaller and less opportunity for that. At very low tide there are many barnacle covered rocky parts of the beach to explore."
"Beautiful beach with gorgeous scenery, wildlife, and more. The walk down was really easy and there were lots of little tide pools during low tide. There was a good amount of parking and a grassy are if you want to picnic. We actually brought our blanket down to the pebbly beach and had a nice picnic there. Don’t forget your discover pass or $10 for day use!"
