"I cant say enough good things about the care we received. Our black lab was having cluster seizures the night we brought him in. The tech from the moment we walked in the doors was kind, calm, attentive, observing and informative. I work in human medicine and this was some of the best service i have ever received. They took him back quickly and kept us in the loop of everything that they were going to do plus briefed us on anything we might expect. He had a seizure while we were there. Not only did the Vet come in and tell us what had happened, but continued to inform us of what they wanted to do for him with our approval. The Vet tech came in moments after the Vet left just to reassure us and let us know she was with him the whole time. I used to come here before it was newly renovated, but cant say enough about the beautiful facilities (even a coffee bar, for us stressed out pet owners!) . Their timeliness and how they continually checked in with each patient was noticed! There new check in system is outstanding too, makes it way easier, rather than blubbering over paperwork, trying to check the pet in and have your nerves shot. Now you can do it all on your phone on your way! Thank you PEC for your superior kindness towards us and our Lincoln, I cant say enough about the support we received by our tech and Vet!"
"I just wanted to say how wonderful the staff was here. Our lab Newt past away in the middle of the night so unexpectedly I had never had this happen and didn't know what to do so I called this place at 130 am not expecting anyone to answer but they did and explained my options and that I could bring her there for cremation. When we arrived, I was still in tears, but they were so nice and understanding. I felt like they cared. I don't remember if I got their names, but I am grateful for their service. Thank you!"
"I understand other reviews about not liking the upfront payment in your face as soon as you walk in but it’s so important to understand the transparency of this place is great! I brought my cat in tonight because she ingested lilies which is super toxic to cats and i couldn’t afford the procedure for her to stay two days to ensure she’s going to be okay and they gave us option after option and worked with us for hours and didn’t give up on us and eventually we found a solution. The ladies at the front desk that helped us were exceptionally compassionate and so helpful I genuinely cannot express how grateful I am for this vet hospital. Everyone was so kind and supportive and they truly know how to care for animals!"
"Ezzy says thank you for seeing her today! I came in at about noon on a Tuesday a few days before Thanksgiving. My dog, showing symptoms of a UTI, needed to be seen as she was very uncomfortable. After hearing there was no available appointments on South Whidbey, Ezzy and I made the trek to Mount Vernon. Ezzy was given a blanket to lay on while we waited in the lobby. It took about 4 hours to be seen but I appreciated the nurse checking in with me and giving Ezzy a little comfort as she passed by. Once we were seen, the process was quick and efficient with antibiotics being prescribed on the spot. Ezzy is home now, sleeping soundly after a long day. And even though her road to recovery is going to be a little longer, she is resting well knowing she was cared for today. Thank you for being so generous when Ezzy had an accident in the lobby, and again in her room. And thank you for helping Ezzy relax again."
"The triage is very helpful & free. The wait can be long depending on the seriousness of the condition. My late dog was seen immediately while actively seizing but had an 8 hour wait for a bowel obstruction on a different visit. 2 hour for a hurt paw. It's gotten a little better with the extra staff after the renovation but still understaffed like everyone else is. Emergency surgeries definitely make the wait longer, but i don't mind. They are accommodating & will let you wait in your car. Or let you leave if you need food. My puppy got a hold of something toxic just after I'd taken a sleeping pill. They didn't think she ate enough to worry but still offered to hold & monitor her while i slept in the car. Since I was going to be unable to drive & stay awake to keep an eye on her."
