"My face and sanity got a lift! I was a Botox hold out, wanted nothing to do with it. I started suffering from Blepharospasms (eye twitch) for months which was worsening. It started affecting me at work where I would have to hold my eye shut giving presentations to stop the double vision. Met and spoke with Amanda, ARNP at Áme and decided to give Botox a try. Amanda was very knowledgeable, explained everything in detail and was patient with my numerous questions. She made the entire experience pleasant. I did two treatments for the full effect. I had a significant improvement after the first treatment and was thrilled with the results. Amanda let me know we could adjust a bit for further results, I went ahead with a second treatment and my Blepharospasms are completely gone! I could not be happier with Amanda's knowledge, patience, caring and the incredible results! "I was searching for an experienced practitioner for treatment of hyperhidrosis on my face and scalp using onabotulinumtoxinA (Botox), and was referred to Jessica Armitage, a Nurse Practitioner at Áme Aesthetic Institute. The clinic managed to squeeze me in for an appointment with Jessica on short notice, which I very much appreciated. The location was easy to find and there was ample parking behind the building. I was impressed with the professionalism and kindness of the front desk staff who greeted and checked me in right away. When I was brought back to a room, Jessica and her assistant were already there waiting for me! She explained everything thoroughly and we came up with a treatment plan. She gently chatted with me during the procedure which distracted me from any discomfort.
