"Awesome place for ultimate Frisbee on Sundays. With most parks having been renovated to have artificial turf, this is one of the few remaining natural grass fields in the city. So if you're like me, and appreciate your joints, and keeping your skin attached to your body, it's an excellent option."
"08/12/23: it is a very cool and spacious park. Its center is African American Museum. Surrounding this park, you can find trails connecting to Sam Smith Park and some play fields. I visited at 9 am so it did not get much crowded. I felt relaxed and comfortable after visiting this awesome park. Highly recommended"
"Pretty sweet that there is another Jimi Hendrix Memorial place however I was hoping for a little more pretty much it's just the Jimi Hendrix art statue walkthrough and that's about it but still very cool as well as a painting someone did next to the sidewalk that is pretty creative and psychedelic. Still definitely worth seeing if your a Jimi fan. :D"
"We went there for the Juneteenth party. It eas packed with people and positive energy to celebrate freedom and equality. I am so happy Seattle has such a venue/park and I live right there. :)"
"Fun little park dedicated to the Seattle legend: Jimi Hendrix. This place is overloaded with lyrics & plaques for the music icon. Winding walk paths are clean, & have metal strips with engraved facts. See pics for some of the sculptures & "going green" nodes throughout the park. A small soccer field is located nearby. Parking is abundant (kinda surprised this park wasn't full of people). Check it out! 5β s"
