Reviews of Museum of Pop Culture
"Visited with my family. Very cool, and playful. A lot to experience for adults and kids. I recommend it as a Must-Go for Seattle. Public Parking is easy just beside. We spent 20$ for 2hrs parking there."
"We had a fun experience with the exhibits. For grunge fans the Nirvana exhibit is comprehensive. The Jimi Hendrix exhibit was really fun an informative and well. We really enjoyed the horror and sci-fi movie exhibits as well, a trip down movie meme our lane. I will say the museum is pricey for its size. You can get thru relatively fast and a family of 4 is about $120. There is a parking lot right the street we used (there are several next to each other) I think called Diamond. Especially shady place that gave us a parking ticket for $60 after paying for parking. We used the park whiz app and they charged us 1min before we checked in on the app to pay. PLEASE BE AWARE OF PARKING. We did contest and didn’t have to pay it yet was unpleasant. Behind the museum is a big ol park for the kids to enjoy and not far from is an area with some food vendors. We found one that a tasty vegan hotdog right be the needle. Overall a fun experience yet if possible get a discount especially if you have fam the leave in Seattle as they can get discounts with their library card. Buying tickets ahead of time will save you a few dollars and time."
"As the name suggests, if you are a fan of pop culture, this is the place for you. Such a fun museum! From music to video games to movies to television, this place has it all. Our personal favorite exhibits were those dedicated to fantasy, horror and sci-fi films! There are so many cool photo opportunities and great pieces from pop culture history. We spent about an hour and a half here. I’d say this is a must-see in Seattle."
"I bought the ticket online few days before my trip and got in right away. I don’t think it’s necessary to buy it in advance but I think it’s cheaper to do so by a buck or two. The museum itself has three floors. First floor is for the museum ticket entrance and studio. Most of the exhibitions are on the second floor, some are good and some are just so so. My favourite is the game exhibitions and I played on a couple games. Other than that I feel the museum is not that big and can be explored by two hours. Honestly, it might be fun to visit once in your life but for sure am not coming back there again. I don’t think it’s worth to visit if you only have limited time in Seattle."
